For us, this is a special season as our grandchildren, Betty and Walter’s great grandchildren, get to spend time with us over the holidays. Christmas always seems so busy, but the smile in a child’s eye shines light and lifts the heart. Christmas truly should be seen through the eyes of a child….
We have been blessed this year to spend time with our tremendous extended family, our “guests.” They are such wonderful friends - caring, humorous (Cdn. spelling), and so giving. We have seen friendships develop that transcend the barriers of age, politics, ethnicity…. Would that we could see that on the world stage….
