MERRY CHRISTMAS!

This year our grandchildren, Betty and Walter’s grandchildren, will be visiting over the Christmas holidays! Christmas is a very special time of the year, but the smile on a child’s face, the twinkle in the eye… just makes the season even more special…. Christmas really is for children, or, at the very least should be seen through their eyes, their hearts…

We have been blessed this year with having so many members of our extended family, “our guests,” returning to stay with us. Their humour (Cdn. spelling), their caring, and assistance of these individuals is exemplary. These qualities allow the difference of age, politics, ethnicity to be transcended; if only we could see the same on the global stage, the world would be a much better, kinder place.
